Colors And Ideas On Your Bridesmaids Dresses

Friday, February 29th, 2008

By Victor Epand I have a few suggestions below. You may want to present these to your attendants and see which ones they like best. Any combination will work. You’ve chosen a monochromatic color scheme so any lightness or darkness of purple is acceptable. Dress your bridesmaids in lavender and your Maid/Matron of honor in plum. I did this at my wedding. Our colors were silver and light blue. I wore a white dress with silver and light blue accents. My bridesmaids were in light blue while my Maid and Matron of honor were in a dark silver. You could also, conversely, put your bridesmaids in plum and the maid/matron in lavender. However, it is generally more popular to dress the maid/matron in a darker color so as to contrast the bride better. Dress them all in lavender with plum sashes or accents. The accents may be shawls, wraps, or ribbons. Many brides who choose this route also have ribbons of the accents in their bouquets and the attendants’ bouquets. Dress them in plum dresses with lavender bouquets. You may also want to include lavender accents. Since the lavender is on your dress, you definitely want it to be more of a secondary color than the plum. So if you do dress them all in plum, you need to make sure the lavender definitely stands out as well. I advise against dressing them in patterned dresses or dual-tone dresses. This will make your wedding party look too busy since your dress already has a floral pattern. Stick with elegant but non-ornate dresses for your attendants. I personally would go with either the 1st or 2nd suggestion. Taffeta is rarely found in bridesmaid dresses, this is because it’s a very luxurious fabric and to be honest, it’s likely to stand out more than the bride! You’re looking more at high street retailers which only stock ‘fashion’ colors. You’ll be paying a little extra but it’s worth going to bridal stores as they will have the color selections all year round. They usually have all styles available in all colors too, so you should find something you like. Mori Lee has a stunning chocolate brown which is available now, have a look on their website for the different styles. Forever yours & Romantic also have chocolate brown in their collection. Most designers have bridesmaid ranges these days. All the designers have stockiest lists on their websites so you can find the nearest store to you. You’ll usually find galleries as well so you can have a browse at some of the different styles they have. Plum & silver sounds lovely! Silver accents would be lovely on your plum dresses. If you go for another color, it can over-complicate the look. As silver is the ‘accessory’ color (this means its the color used to complement your main color, which is used in hints) then it would be very suitable. What you have suggested sounds lovely! I can especially picture these dresses in chiffon. Organza can be quite stiff, the cheaper organza has a shimmer to it and it makes it look cheap! Despite it being the evening, it’ll still be light so the tangerine sounds like s good compromise. Very zesty! Do be warned - please try this color and T length style on your bridesmaids as it doesn’t suit everyone.Your bridesmaids would really need to be tall for the length as it can stunt shorter ladies. Tangerine is a lovely color but can wash out some complexions - also if any of your bridesmaids are larger they may well end up looking literally like a tangerine! If tangerine is too severe then try a more peachy orange instead. It’s softer and kinder to complexions and will look very elegant in chiffon. Lemon or sunshine yellow is a lovely color as well, believe it or not. Along with a golden tan (fake or otherwise!) it simply glows. Long, flowing drapes and gentle scallop frills are very much in this year and will look super on your bridesmaids. If you have larger bridesmaids then the styles with the folds / roaches across the waist draw the waist in and make for a shapely figure. There is some lovely t-length styles lovely peachy color. This color is really lovely and is one of the colors I’d recommend as an alternative to tangerine. I had my bridesmaids wear black floor length gowns for my wedding in the middle of May simply because I had my heart set on a very formal wedding!! Needless to say, it turned out looking beautiful. Whatever color of style of dresses you choose for your girls, the pictures will no doubt turn out great. Go with what you imagine being the perfect look or you may regret it down the line and wish you had gone with your tangerine dresses. Infidelity-Avoiding The Greener Grass Syndrome

Friday, February 29th, 2008

By Nancy Anderson Avoid the Greener Grass Syndrome: Water Your Own Marriage. If your marriage is less than blissful, and you feel like giving up, I can tell you from personal experience; marriages can be raised from the dead. My husband, Ron, and I had one of the worst marriages Ive ever seen.but nowwe really love each other even like each other. You can too. Are you willing to begin anew? Youre probably thinking, Why should I be the first to change? or How come I have to do all the work? The answer is simple: God will work with whoever is available and give that person the strength to change. Are you available? You already know that you cant change your mate, but you can change your own behavior. The word change indicates a transformation, which is a metamorphosis; the word metamorphosis begins with the two letters me. Change begins with me. I Cant Get No Satisfaction If either you or your spouse constantly hums the Rolling Stones tune, I Cant Get No Satisfaction, you might be in trouble. If you ignore each others needs, one or both of you will be more tempted to go elsewhere. But having unmet needs is no excuse for bad behavior and going after satisfaction outside your marriage is always wrong. The best way to avoid the Greener Grass Syndrome is to water your own lawn. If our marriages are well-watered, the grass on our own side of the fence will be lush and soft and lovely. And if youre both content and committed to your marriage, the Flirty Franks and Teasing Tinas at the office, gym, or grocery store wont be as tempting. Maybe youre saying, But, Nancy, you dont know how selfish my husband/wife is. Youre right, I dont know your situation, but Im assuming that you chose to marry that person, so they must have some wonderful qualities too. Unless your spouse is abusing you or your children, you can choose to be satisfied in your marriage. Look for the best in your mate, not at his or her faults. The more you meet your spouses needs, the more he or she will want to meet yours. It doesnt matter who plants the first seeds, because youll enjoy the harvesttogether. It might be hard to start, but if you dont, and your mate wont, then who will? Paying Attention? My husband, Ron, recently had a conversation with his friend Earl. Earl said, For years, my feet have been killing me. I bought insole cushions for my shoes and even bought an expensive pair of arch supports, but nothing helped. So I finally went to a podiatrist. What did he say? Ron asked. Earl said, First, he X-rayed my feet and looked at the films. Then the doctor asked me, What size shoe do you wear? I answered, Eleven. Then the he said, No wonder your feet hurt, you should wear a size thirteen!Earl shook his head as he told Ron, Ive been buying size eleven shoes since high school. It never occurred to me to measure my feet to see if theyd grown. His shoes had been too small for years! His feet had changed, but he wasnt paying attention. Have you measured your marriage lately? Its easy to get complacent and just continue doing what weve always done. Since nothing ever stays the same, small changes can sneak up on us and cause some big problems. Growing Pains If youre struggling in your relationship and feel like youve grown apart from your spouse, today can be the day of new beginnings. I know how lonely, discouraged, and exhausted you may feel, because Ive felt that way. I was in a marriage full of emptiness. I was the original desperate housewife, when 24 years ago, I had an affair and moved out of our house. Ron and I were both selfish, angry, and critical; but we arent anymore. Well . . . Im still a little selfish, but mostly our lives are full of light and loveand yours can be too. We admitted our faults, asked for forgiveness, changed our behavior and decided to love each other. Our feelings eventually caught up with our actions and we slowly grew a lovely green grass marriage in own backyard. Ron and I still dont agree on all issues, but since weve reached a compromise on most of the major ones; the minor oneslike where to set the thermostat or which one of us is a better driver (me) wont break us. Weve learned to work together as a team, and that is our prayer for you. A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. The Wonderful World of Peanuts

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

By Lara Velez HISTORY Before I begin with the history of peanuts you should probably know that the peanut is not a nut. The “pea”nut is actually more closely related to the pea. It is a member of the legumes family. Also, peanuts do not grow in trees like nuts do. They grow on the ground. They start out as flowers, and eventually wind up burrowing underground. Under ground is where they become a delicious peanut. OK - so where did these little guys come from you ask? Well, they are thought to have originated in South America…possibly Brazil or Peru. When the Portuguese began to explore “The New World,” they took peanuts back home with them. Portuguese traders took them as far as Asia and Africa. In the United States, peanuts became popular during the Civil War. Then around the 1900’s many mechanical devices were invented to help with the processing of peanuts. As a result their popularity increased even more. Speaking of inventions…George Washington Carver invented over 300 uses for the peanut, including; medicine, ink, soap, shampoo, ice-cream, and axle grease. Today, peanuts are eaten all over the world. They have become a huge money making industry. In the United States alone they contribute well over 4 billion dollars yearly to the economy PEANUT TRIVIA Americans consume 700 million pounds or 3.3 pounds per person, of peanut butter per year.that’s enough to coat the floor of the Grand Canyon. To enhance the flavor of a cola drink, Southerners put peanuts into the bottle. There are approximately 810 peanuts in an 18 oz. jar of peanut butter. The peanut is unusual because it flowers above the ground, but fruits below the ground.Peanut oil has a very high smoking point. This allows peanut oil to be heated to a higher temperature than most oils, making it an excellent choice for frying. Since peanuts are a legume, they reduce the need for additional fertilizers as they return nitrogen to the soil as they grow. HEALTH BENEFITS Peanuts are packed full of healthy stuff, including; antioxidants, niacin, Vitamin E, monounsaturated fat, bioflavnoids, protein, and they have more resveratrol than grapes (which lowers LDL - aka “bad cholesterol”) That’s not all…Some medical researchers say that they lower the risk of heart disease and provide protection from some types of cancer (colon, prostate, and breast). Well, as you can see there are some great reasons to eat peanuts…as if the fact that they are delicious isn’t enough. THE DARK SIDE Peanut proteins can act as powerful allergens, even in tiny amounts. That is why Peanut allergies are the most common cause of death by food in the United States. Some people can have a ruthless reaction just for inhaling the scent of a peanut. People can die from very small amounts. So, if your allergic to peanuts…or think you could be…don’t risk even going near them. You can substitute almonds or any nut for any of the recipes below. For the cookies…you’ll have to make your own ‘nut butter. YUMMY…PEANUTTY RECIPES CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER Put 2 cups of peanuts in a blender and blend until smooth. For added texture and/or flavoring add one or more of the following: 2 Tblsp honey 4 tsp sugar 2 tsp pure vanilla extract - or any other extract you like 1/4 c mini chocolate chips 1/4 c rice cereal THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS…USE YOUR IMAGINATION! CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER 3 c. salted peanuts 2 Tblsp. butter Measure 1/2 peanuts and put aside. Empty remaining peanuts into blender container. Cover and blend on low speed until the peanuts are chopped. Add butter, cover and blend on low speed 15 seconds. Turn off the blender and scrape down sides with rubber spatula. Add the 1/2 cup peanuts, cover and blend on medium speed for 3 - 5 seconds. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving. MAMA’S PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 1/2 c. peanut butter 1/2 c. butter, softened 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. light brown sugar 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 c. all purpose flour 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Repairing A Broken Piece Of Glass

Wednesday, February 27th, 2008

By David Gomm Here is a scratch or the start of a break. It might have been caused by excess heat or a flaw in the glass. It’s been circled with pen so you can see it more readily. To replace the piece, we start by scoring the piece to be replaced many times. First one direction, and then the other. Then I tap from the bottom to loosen the pieces of glass. Notice that I place a garbage can below the repair to catch the debris and save myself some clean up. I continue to tap until several pieces of glass are ready to pop out. I don’t want to be too aggressive at this stage because I don’t want to create pressure against the surrounding pieces of glass, or they might break. Now I heat up a soldering iron and begin to heat the old joint, melting the solder and allowing it to drip into the garbage below. I usually flux the area needed to be melted just to encourage the solder to melt more readily. I try to direct more heat onto the side of the joint that I’m replacing to reduce the likelihood of breaking the neighboring pieces of glass. After I melt as much of the solder away as I can, I flip the panel over and melt the other side the same way. (See the ball of solder resting on an adjoining piece of glass, that could create a hot spot and break the glass, so avoid that condition). Now that most of the solder is removed and only copper foil is left to hold the pieces in the window, I begin to gently break and remove the pieces. I use great care not to damage the foil any more than necessary because if I don’t damage the foil on the adjoining pieces, I can reuse it and save myself some work. Once all the pieces of glass are removed, I grip the unwanted foil that encased the removed piece of glass with pliers. Pulling gently on the foil at all times, I work the soldering iron around the entire piece, allowing the old solder to melt and release the unwanted foil from the surrounding foil. When I’m done, I have a pretty clean opening. If any of the foil is damaged, I clean the area and replace it. If this is an art glass piece you may need to create a pattern piece by placing poster board or paper under the opening and tracing it. Then cut out new glass as you normally would. Now I set the new piece of glass in place. See the small piece of pink glass in the center, that’s to keep the new piece of glass at the same height as the rest of the panel. (You can use any color of glass as a shim!) With the glass in place, I’m ready to flux and solder. I touch the iron to a place where the pieces line up perfectly and lightly tack them. Then I can rock the other side gently until it lines up perfectly. I do this just often enough to get the piece in place and lined up with the surrounding pieces. Once the new piece is tacked in place, I remove the shim to keep it from creating unwanted pressure points. Now I solder the piece back in place. I keep my iron at a lower heat setting and quickly span the air gap with melted solder. After I have the gap filled, I don’t have to be as careful with the extra heat, because the solder won’t be as easy to run through to the other side. (When the gap is so large that solder runs through, I will fill the gap with an extra piece of copper foil.) Then I flip the window over and solder the other side. Here, Jeanne cleans the window and dries it thoroughly, then applies a fresh coating of patina. And it looks as good as new! Mari Creative Resources is the Doorway into the Wonder of Psyche

Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

By Rachelle Hansen MARI Creative Resources provides teaching and training programs that encourage wellness in mental health based on the MARI psychological assessment. The goal is to provide a quality training program and excellent service in the administration of teacher training and certification. MARI also promotes creativity and innovation within the organization, particularly in areas that promote practitioner satisfaction and continuing education, by providing products and services at a reasonable cost. The Mandala Assessment Research Instrument is rooted the research and systematic study of thousands of client-drawn mandalas. This research was implemented and conducted by art therapist Joan Kellogg in the 1970s. The MARI as we know it now first took form in Joans Masters thesis in the 1980s. Since its invention, the MARI has been continually researched, modified and enhanced for over roughly twenty years with input by the many different therapists who use the MARI with clients. The MARI, as it exists today, will continue to disclose itself and evolve over time. The MARI is a comprehensive system that uses symbols, known as mandalas, to reveal the inner truth and reality of the subject as it is -not what the ego filters of consciousness would want it to be- but how it really is. Carl Jung, world renowned psychiatrist, recognized the mandala as “the centre of personality, a kind of central point within the psyche, to which everything is related, by which everything is arranged and which is, itself, a source of energy.” Jung’s description of the mandala is also an excellent description of the MARI.In addition to symbols, the MARI is comprised of colors and stages of development. The relationship of these variables creates a visual ’snapshot’ of the self as experienced in the present moment. This visual relationship is best understood by addressing each variable separately. Getting Your Prospects’ Attention: Create A Character!

Monday, February 25th, 2008

By Debbie LaChusa When you are marketing and selling a product or service, it’s key that you understand who you are talking to. Who is your ideal customer? Who has a problem that you, your product or service can solve? Who would be most interested in your product or service? Who is most likely to buy your product or service? Once you identify who the best customer or ideal client is for your product or service, write a description of that person. How old are they? Are they male or female? Where do they live? What kind of work do they do? What do they do for fun? What is the problem your product or service can help them solve? Are they affluent or is money tight? You may not have all the answers to these questions, but do the best you can to write a detailed description. Once you have completed the description, take it one step further: Create a character. What exactly do I mean by that? Picture in your mind, a single person who embodies all of these characteristics. Once you have a picture in your mind, begin to think about who this person is. Here’s an example Let’s say you are a wellness coach or fitness professional and your ideal client is a middle-aged, overweight woman who does not currently take very good care of herself, but wishes to drop a few pounds and get healthier. First, here’s a description She is a woman between the ages of 35 and 50 years old; she’s married with school-aged children; she works full- or part-time; leads a stressful, busy life trying to manage her family and work responsibilities; doesn’t take very good care of herself because she’s always caring for others; is 20-30 pounds overweight as a result; and doesn’t eat very healthfully. Now, here’s how we create a character First, we give her a name: Mary Smith Then we imagine how her typical day goes, as follows: Mary gets up at 6:00am and fixes breakfast for her two elementary school-aged children. She helps them get dressed and ready for school. She makes their lunches. She kisses her husband goodbye as he leaves for work, and proceeds to get ready for work herself. Mary loads the kids in the car, drops them off at school, and heads to work. She works in a busy office, and rarely takes time off for lunch. Because she usually doesn’t make time to pack her own lunch, she often runs out for fast food or another quick take-out lunch, and returns to the office to eat at her desk while she works. At about 3:00pm, Mary needs a pick-me-up so she grabs a soda and a sugary snack from the vending machine. Mary leaves the office at 5:30 and heads to the babysitter to pick up the kids. They arrive home between 6:30 and 7:00pm,tired and hungry. Dinner is often fast food, frozen pizza or another quick meal, usually lacking in solid nutrition. After dinner Mary helps the kids with their homework, gives them a bath and puts them to bed. She sits down to relax in front of the TV with her husband around 9:00pm and has some ice cream f:00am to start this routine all over again. Now, let me ask you a question Do you feel like you know and understand your prospective client better based on the general description (age, family status, etc.) or based on the detailed ‘character’ description about Mary Smith and her typical day? Which description would best enable you to create effective marketing messages? Which description would enable you to select places to put your marketing messages to reach this ideal client? If you’re like most people, your answer is the detailed character description because it turns a generalized description of your ideal client into a person you can understand. A person who has very clear challenges and issues you can help solve. Yes, you will be making some assumptions and generalities when you do this. That’s okay. Just consider you are creating a character that represents the type of client you would like to reach with your marketing. This character is merely a representation. Combine the character description with a photo To further identify with your ideal client, you may even want to post this character description along with a photo cut-out from a magazine to represent him/her, as a reminder of who you are marketing to. Creating a character brings your target audience to life It allows you to market and speak to people. It enables you to create messages that touch those ideal clients and truly address the challenges they face in their daily lives. It allows you to see how you, your product or service fits into their lives as a solution to those problems. It enables you to market more effectively I challenge you to look at your target audience description andtake it one step further and create a character. Then make sure all of your marketing is designed to speak to that person in language that resonates with them and helps them see you understand their issues or needs. Try it. I think you’ll find that your marketing becomes much more powerful and effective as a result. Collecting Overdue Debt: A Course of Action

Thursday, February 21st, 2008

By Jeremy Maddock If you are a business owner, you will likely encounter overdue debt on a very routine basis. A huge number of customers both individuals and other businesses will inevitably forget, not bother, or refuse to pay their bills. Its easy enough to deal with the forgetful procrastinators with a couple of firmly worded overdue notices, but for those who still dont pay, there is a time to turn things over the a debt collection agency. When it becomes clear that a customer doesnt intend to pay you of their own free will, turning things over to another party probably isnt a bad idea. For example, customers that flatly deny owing you money, despite your records, are very difficult to deal with without help. A customer making repeated, groundless claims and complaints for the sole reason of getting out of a payment, is another tell-tale sign that your business may have a problem on its hands. In cases like this, it is a good idea to send a final warning notice, attempting to create a fair repayment plan. If no action is taken by the other party, it is then time to seek help from professional debt collectors. Another obvious sign of trouble is when a delinquent debtor changes their address or telephone number without notifying you or providing forwarding information. In cases like this, you should immediately get assistance from an agency that is willing to track down the customer and act upon the debt. Cross Stitch Materials and Preparation

Saturday, February 16th, 2008

By Laura Anne Grey Find out what cross stitch materials and preparation you need to get started stitching. Preparation You should always cut the fabric you are going to stitch onto at least 8-10 cm larger than the finished size of the design, this will allow you to turn up a seam, or to mount your work or make it into a gift. If you are making a garment with a cross stitch design you should mark out the pattern of the garment onto the fabric before you start stitching to ensure you place it correctly. To prevent the fabric from fraying you can either turn over the edge and machine stitch it or bind it using tape. I find masking tape good for this job. You should always start stitching from the center of the fabric. Fold the fabric in half one way and then the other way to find the center point. Separate your threads - If you are working from a kit the thread for the project will likely be supplied. You should separate and mark the colours before you start to make sure you identify each colour correctly. A floss organizer is very handy for this job and you can pick one up for only a few dollars these days. Equipment Very little equipment is actually needed for cross stitch. If you are working from a kit the fabric, needle and threads will most likely be supplied. You will need an embroidery hoop or frame to mount the fabric on. Take a look at the cross stitch materials information below: Hoops and Frames If you mount the cross stitch fabric on a hoop or frame your work will be easier to handle and stitches will be kept flat and smooth. You should choose a frame that accommodates the whole design so you don’t have to fold or bend the fabric. If you bind the outer ring of an embroidery hoop with white bias tape it will prevent it from marking the fabric and prevent slipping. Needles You should stitch your design using a tapestry needle which has a large eye and a blunt end to prevent damage to the fabric. Choose a size of needles that slides easily through the holes of the fabric without distorting or enlarging them. Scissors A sharp pair of embroidery or sewing sissors will make you floss cuts neat and tidy. Thimble A thimble will help stop your finger hurting. Threads Cross stitch designs are worked with floss thread. These come in many colours and clever use of colour creates wonderful cross stitch pieces. Fabric The Majority of cross stitch is worked on Aida fabric which comes in several sizes. The most popular size is 14 count which means there are 14 threads to 1 inch. Laura Anne Grey has been a cross stitcher and enthusiast for over ten years. She owns a craft business in South Wales and is an expert in her field. Paint Israel Black: Jews to Lose Jerusalem!

Friday, February 15th, 2008

By David Ben-Ariel Israel’s rejection of their 1967 miracle will result in their loss of Jerusalem. Let Israel lower its flag and mourn and paint the country BLACK since Orange was crushed under “just following orders” soldiers doing their sworn enemies’ dirty work…. The official Israeli rejection of their God-given Six Day War victory will result in greater loss of life and the end of Jewish Jerusalem. With the abuse and perversion of Jewish troops (sworn to defend Jews and Israelis), engaged in the ethnic cleansing of Jews from biblical territories Providence once empowered them to liberate, their punishment will be a loss of miracles and the loss of Jerusalem and Israeli sovereignty! THE EU JACKBOOT WILL SOON STOMP JERUSALEM AND TRAMPLE ISRAEL! General Sharon’s illegitimate deployment of the Israeli Defense Forces to illegally force productive Jews from their loving homes and prosperous businesses (having turned that former desert region into a rose now shamefully abandoned to pricks - Numbers 33:55), not to secure Israel’s future (having gambled it away to foreign investors and aliens with their eye on Jerusalem), but to bow before his German-Jesuit masters, has sold out Israel and invited the disaster of international troops to soon flood the Middle East as “peacekeepers.” Criminal company Sharon and Bush had sufficiently been warned by God and the People not to reward terrorism and get rich off Jewish blood, sweat and tears or waste precious American lives in the war against Nazi-Muslim terrorism (with no serious intentions of WINNING it), treacherously entertaining thoughts of another Arab terrorist state, an accursed “Palestine” (that seeks to erase our father Jacob-Israel’s name off the map - Ps. 83:4), and shaking bloody hands with terrorists in a suit and tie! May God take note and reward them accordingly. Their sins against God, the United States and Israel, stink to High Heaven! The Word and Will of God is for the Jewish people, pioneer tribe of the Twelve Tribes of Israel (that includes the American and British peoples), to be inheritors of the Promised Land, preparing it for the greater influx of representatives from the other tribes, the so-called “Lost Ten Tribes of Israel.” The Hebrew word for “settler” is INHERITOR. Our Jewish brethren are called to lead holy lives in the Holy Land (Malachi 4:4), setting an example for other nations to follow. Instead, the Jewish homeland has been cursed with the “new” secular Israeli who wants to deny his Hebrew roots as a JEW, and biblical responsibilities, and be just like all the other nations, rather than a “Light to all nations.” There’s nothing new under the sun. Such “Israelis” in times past were called Hellenists, and we know the unwarranted hatred they had for God and Jews of faith that created a schism, a breach, that enabled foreign intervention by Antiochus Epiphanes (”god in the flesh”) who wreaked havoc and polluted the Temple and slaughtered those who resisted his “advances” (all foreshadowing EU entanglement in Israel and their wannabe divine emperor polluting the imminent Temple). Today the hypocritical family of nations preaches to Israel about how to allegedly obtain peace with the “Palestinians” (a fictitious people who have brainwashed the world with their BIG LIE) by surrendering “land for peace.” This despite the fact that history cries out that appeasement never works! Now Israel finds itself with a lot less land, but WHERE’S THE PEACE? Instead of coming to their senses and scrapping such a miserably failed formula, Israel continues to swallow the poisonous concoction and under international influence, drunk on such delusions, listens to further wicked counsel by men and women playing God, some even professing to be Christians and Jews, nations with the chutzpah to mock and reject the LAND COVENANT that God made with Israel alone (Joel 3:2). Israel is drinking itself to death, and refuses to recover from the bleeding wound the lying and deadly peace process has struck them with (Isa. 28:15-18), and digs themself in deeper (Dan. 9:11), instead of turning back to our Great Creator God (Hos. 6:1-2), the God who promised the Land to Israel (not to Ishmael), and confess that former Israeli Parliament Member and rabbi, Meir Kahane, was right! Israel is suffering the dire consequences for rejecting his prophetic warnings and call for Israel to remove the threat the Arab enemy poses and enforce PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH (Dan. 9:11). International pressure will be exerted upon Israel to “share” Jerusalem (as called for by UN Resolution 181), divide their eternal capital, with their “peace partners” who daily call for genocide against the Jews and the destruction of Israel! However, biblical prophecy reveals Jerusalem will be seized and taken from the Jews, the whole city captured by the covetous EU, and half of it (undoubtedly East Jerusalem) forcibly evicted, Jewish homes plundered and women brutally raped: Zechariah 14:1-3 1 Behold, the day of the LORD is coming, And your spoil will be divided in your midst. 2 For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken, The houses rifled, And the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3 Then the LORD will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle. The proud and stubborn nations, in rank violation against God’s Land Covenant with Israel, want to force themselves on Israel, have their way with Jerusalem and rape Jewish women! And Israel has whored around with foreign ways, submitted to their idolatrous ideas, and refused to submit to God’s Word and remember that the Holy One of Israel is King! The Great God of the Hebrews proved this to the nations when He took on the Egyptian superpower and rescued His damsel in distress. God says to the foolish nations: “You want a piece of this?” And the nations that forget they are but men, only mortal, will dare defy God’s Word and Will, and come against Jerusalem not realizing our God of war, our Commander-in-Chief and LORD of Hosts, is drawing them into an ambush! He’ll let the fascist EU wreak havoc for awhile, even three and one half years, but then He will put them in their place, plague them for their impudence and drive them away like chaff from Jerusalem’s Temple Mount! May Jerusalem and the cities of our God, the cities of Judah, hear this GOOD NEWS! And they will: Two witnesses - in the bold spirit of Elijah - will testify to this biblical account before Israel’s captive audience from occupied Jerusalem(Zech. 4:14). We will not be left without comfort, but will be offered hope to fight despair and given faith to battle fear, encouraged by their announcement our heavenly King will come and save us: Isaiah 40:1, 9 1 Comfort, yes, comfort My people!Says your God… 9 O Zion,You who bring good tidings,Get up into the high mountain;O Jerusalem,You who bring good tidings,Lift up your voice with strength,Lift it up, be not afraid;Say to the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
